Why CQC Registration Matters
Being registered with the CQC is highly beneficial because it provides legal compliance, enhances reputation and credibility, offers a framework for continuous quality improvement and provides reassurance to clients and their families.
For case management having a CQC registration serves as an independent assurance to not only clients and their families but also to other stakeholders that the service will meet rigorous quality and safety standards.
Registration requires commitment to person-centred care. Ensuring that all care and support plans are tailored to individual needs, dignity and respect are promoted and safeguarding protocols are in place. This framework helps case managers ensure best practice is consistently applied.
Many local authorities, the NHS and private insurance companies require a CQC registration as a condition for contracts and funding to be given.
