Claudette posesses a remarkable ability to evaluate clients’ functional, vocational, and psychological changes following trauma and to implement intricate treatment plans. With her extensive clinical experience in trauma and orthopaedics, she uses her expertise as an Occupational Therapist to make informed treatment choices, navigate NHS options, and collaborate with various teams to execute recommendations.
Starting her career as an occupational therapist in South Africa, Claudette moved to the UK to pursue her career. She celebrated her 10th anniversary with Unite Professionals in 2025. She attributes her growth as a skilled and confident case manager to the team’s support, strong clinical leadership, and participation in peer learning groups. Initially joining Unite Professionals as a case manager, she later transitioned into a full-time clinical lead role, drawing on her experience to guide clinical decisions and improve service delivery.
Claudette effectively manages her own caseload while also providing support to both new and seasoned case managers. Additionally, she plays an active role in projects aimed at driving quality improvements within Unite Professionals.
